1) Mona's work using the Nokia N95 will be on display covering the entire brick wall next to the stairwell.

SEE Six Stories of Diversity - Group Show

SEE Six Stories of Diversity is a show with me and five other documentary photographers. My photo essay concentrates on Fouzia, a successful, independent woman and her mother, Saleema, a more traditional woman visiting from Pakistan.

The Academy of Art University hosting the space and the reception is on on Friday, December 1, 2006

If you haven't heard, I'm exploding - my career, at least.

Don't blink or you may miss me in the first 30 sec of Gov. Mark Warner video at Yearly Kos. I'm the one in the flower shirt.

I'm making a national network premier on Bravo's Project Runway 3 on Wednesday, July 12. Stacey Estrella made it as a finalist in the third season of Project Runway. You'll see the photos (left) when they introduce Stacey into the show.

I've been shooting Estrella Couture since it's conception in 2004.

My Rome debut

How can you not love a guy named Guido? Guido Moltedo is an Italian journalist that covered Yearly Kos. He wrote a couple articles and one of my photo made it onto Europa Quotidiano, Rome's biggest newspaper. View the pdf printed on June 13th.

My Paris debut

I am back from YearlyKos, a bloggers political convention. I came back with a soon to be published e-book and international publication.

My team worked hard and the highlight of the trip was when I got to photograph a formal portrait of Sen. Barbara Boxer (CA). Other political leaders I photographed includes Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, 2008 Democratic Presidential candidate Gov. Mark Warner (VA) and DNC Leader Howard Dean.

I loved it and would like to cover political events and women in politics more extensively.

Title IX project and how you can participate

Football is the biggest thing event every weekend in the South, period. I never cared for football and if it wasn't for Title IX (amendment), me and other females would probably not had the chance to have the choice to play organized sports in public schools.

I started playing softball as a catcher when I was seven years old. I'd figure that position would allow me to touch the ball at least. Sports was a big influence for me from then on. I did play varsity softball in h.s. but was more interested in keeping stats for baseball and managing the football team. My sports career continued in college with Auburn Athletics but abandoned the dream of becoming a sports agent.
